Meeting and conference facilities
Hastings Borough Council now offers meeting facilities for public use in our newly refurbished Muriel Matters House. We are situated in central Hastings and only a short walk from Hastings railway station. There is a large public car park just opposite the front entrance of the building. The building is newly renovated and our meeting rooms offer a modern, professional workspace for all, at competitive rates.
Our Council Chamber is situated on the Upper Ground Floor and can comfortably hold up to 60 people in a theatre style. Thanks to the use of a modular table system we are able to arrange the room to almost any layout you require. The main display in the room is a 70" touch screen monitor with an additional 3 TV screens throughout the room, with the ability to display to multiple screens at once. Up to 20 microphones can be provided should you require, allowing uncompromised projection to a large audience.
If you wish to book one of our Committee Rooms you will have access to a screen to display your presentations (via HDMI). Each room varies in size and shape so let us know what you require and we can find the room to best suit you.

There are alternative prices available for registered charities only. Inclusive in the price is tea, coffee and water up to 30 people on request. Above 30 attendees, a charge of 50p per person will be made for refreshments.
