In 2002, we were awarded £38 million in regeneration funding by the Government.  We immediately began a massive consultation exercise with our local community about how we should take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity.  Everything that has happened since 2002 has its roots in the thousands of responses we received from our residents.  This area is a brief 'highlights' guide to the regeneration of Hastings as it has unfolded over the years:
