We make every effort to collect your rubbish on the correct day. However, if for any reason, your household rubbish is not collected in the weekly round please report it to us.
You can report your missed bin collection using the Online Fault Reporting Form.
Alternatively, you can contact the Refuse and Recycling Team regarding the matter.

There’s a special collection service for bulky items such as furniture and white goods. We will collect them from you doorstep and dispose of them responsibly.
Up to three bulky items will be collected from you for just £12. You will need to book your collection with us, and pay your standard fee, either over the telephone or in Hastings Information Centre. When you book you will be able to say which day you would prefer for collection and ask for assistance with the items if you need it.
To book a bulky waste collection call into the Hastings Information Centre, contact the Refuse and Recycling Team or fill in our online Bulky Waste Collection Request Form and a member of our team will call you back.

East Sussex County Council operates a disposal service for household hazardous waste, this is mainly provided through Household Waste Recycling Centre at Pebsham where there are reception facilities.
Hazardous waste contains dangerous properties that could make it harmful to human health or the environment. This includes items that may be highly flammable, toxic, corrosive, irritant or cancer causing.
