Hazardous Waste

East Sussex County Council operates a disposal service for household hazardous waste, this is mainly provided through Household Waste Recycling Centre at Pebsham where there are reception facilities.

Hazardous waste contains dangerous properties that could make it harmful to human health or the environment.  This includes items that may be highly flammable, toxic, corrosive, irritant or cancer causing.

Further information about the management of household hazardous waste can be found on www.eastsussex.gov.uk.
