Quality Bus Partnership Action Plan

The three partners launch the Quality Bus Partnership

Hastings Borough Council, East Sussex County and Stagecoach have now launched their Quality Bus Partnership Action Plan for Hastings & St Leonards.

The Action Plan sets out how each Partner will contribute to making improvements to the bus services in Hastings and St Leonards.

To make sure the Partnership keeps on track, each year we will monitor and report back, the progress in the following six key areas:

  • Reliability: The percentage of scheduled services actually operated.
  • Punctuality: The percentage of services that operate on time or no more than 5 minutes late.
  • Waiting facilities: Number of bus stops with seats and/or shelter.
  • Information provision: Timetables, roadside information, telephone info, internet site.
  • Passenger journeys: The number of undertaken.
  • Average age of fleet and provision of low floor buses.

A free leaflet giving a summary of what is in the Action Plan is available from the Hastings Information Centre,and the Stagecoach office in Station Road, Town Centre.
