Planning News Issue 80

Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople

We recently held an exhibition on behalf of the South East England Regional Assembly (SEERA) providing information, and asking for views on options for the locations of pitches for Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople across the South East region.

48 people attended the event, which was held in the Town Hall on 20 October 2008.  Response forms completed on the day have been forwarded to SEERA, which will inform their decision on a broad allocation of pitches across the region.

It is not too late to comment on these options, the deadline for your comments is 21 November - anyone else who wishes to comment can do so via the SEERA website or by telephoning them on 01483 555200.
