Example where a boundary wall has been removed
There have recently been a number of important changes to planning legislation which alter what can and cannot be done without the need to make a planning application.
The changes affect the size and location of extensions and outbuildings that can be built, the provision of solar heating panels and the formation of hardstandings in front gardens.
The information pages on our site have been updated and there is also an interactive guide on the Planning Portal.
If you have had advice from us in the past the situation may now have changed so it is important to check the up to date legal position before starting work on any domestic building projects.
