Planning for Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople in the South East

Somewhere to Live: Planning for Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople in the South East

The South East England Regional Assembly (SEERA) is holding a public consultation on options for allocating new pitches for Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople across the region.  The consultation is concerned with the number and distribution of pitches required across the region, rather than precise locations.  The consultation runs for 12 weeks from 1 September to 21 November.  SEERA want your views on providing places to live for Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople in the South East.  For more information visit: www.southeast-ra.gov.uk

During the coming weeks SEERA will be holding a number of public exhibitions events with details of their proposals, across the County.  Details of these exhibitions dates will be advertised by SEERA and ourselves in due course.  Copies of the consultation documents and information about where to send your comments can be viewed at the Planning Reception - Century House, at Hastings Information Centre and www.southeast-ra.gov.uk.
