There have been delays from central government over the implementation of the new national planning application known as 1APP. It was originally planned that it would become mandatory from October 2007, but all local planning authorities will now implement it by April 2008.
Here in Hastings we hope to be going live with 1APP on 1 February 2008 and after that time we will only accept applications on the new forms. Applications made through the Planning Portal will automatically use the new forms from that date.
