Planning Unpacked

Learn the ins and outs of the planning process at a new year workshop

Glazed building front

Spaces are limited for 'Planning Unpacked 2', which will take you through the planning system step by step, including how to comment on planning applications and the Council's long-term plan, the Local Development Framework.

Councillor Matthew Lock, lead member for Community Prosperity, said:

"We are always looking for new ways to make the Council and its processes more accessible.  Planning issues can affect everybody, but the process can seem complicated if you're new to it, so this workshop is the perfect place to start learning.  Book a place and come along and find out more the planning system."

The workshop will be fast moving, interactive and informative, taking place on Thursday, 17 January 2008 at 2pm and finishing no later than 7pm at Hastings Voluntary Action, Priory Street.

The event has been prepared with Planning Aid, an organisation that offers free, independent and professional town planning advice and support to communities and individuals who cannot afford to pay planning consultancy fees.

There are only 15 places available and must be booked by Thursday, 10 January.  To reserve your space call Samuel Batchelor on 0845 274 1098.
