New ways of getting site location plans for planning applications

Scaffolding in front of a building

For a number of years Local Authorities have been able to supply site location plans for a fee to persons submitting Planning or Building Control applications as part of the Ordnance Survey's Map Returns Scheme. However, Ordnance Survey have decided to withdraw this scheme from 1st October 2007. This means that Hastings Borough Council are no longer able to provide customers with copies of plans for these purposes.

Persons submitting applications on the internet through the Planning Portal will be able to purchase site location plans as part of that process. Alternatively you can find your nearest Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data Centre on their website.
