We have just published a range of new free planning advice leaflets which will be available from our offices at Century House or the Information Centre in Queens Square.
The subjects are:

- Comments and Objections - What you need to know if you want to comment on an application
- General Advice and Information - Explains the Development Control Service
- Planning Applications: Supporting Information - Explains what you need to include with your planning application
- Before You Start Work - other permissions and considerate contractor advice - What you need to know before you start work on site
- Extensions - Explains what you need to consider if you are planning an extension to your house
- Installation of New or Replacement Windows and Doors - Explains what you need to consider if you are planning to install new windows
- Vehicle Hardstandings and Accesses - Explains what you need to consider if you are planning to park your car in your front garden
- Satellite Dishes - Explains what you need to know if you are considering a satellite dish
- Opening a Café, Restaurant, Bar or Take Away - Gives detailed advice on the different permissions that you need if you are going to open a catering establishment
