This is Quercus x rosacea, a hybrid between our two wild oak species, English Oak and Sessile Oak. A closer look at the leaves, shows they are much larger than leaves of either of its parents. There is some dispute about how rare this hybrid is, in part because the leaves of both its parents can vary in shape depending on where the seed came from.
