Our Online Parking Services pages give online access to our back-office database containing information about parking contraventions. Details of contraventions are loaded into the database from Parking Wardens' hand-held computers at the end of each day. For this reason, you may not be able to see details of a contravention until the day after a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was issued.
If your penalty charge notice was issued on a Friday, please note that you will not be able to view the details, pay or appeal against it until after 10am on Monday.

You can use our online services to view the information we hold about a parking contravention. To do this, login to the Parking Online Services by entering your vehicle registration number and the Penalty Charge Notice number.

You can appeal online instead of making a payment if you wish us to consider any mitigating circumstances. You must make your initial representation within 14 days to take advantage of the discount period and no later than 28 days from the date the charge was issued. The charge will be put on hold until we have investigated and responded to you in writing. To appeal online, login to the Parking Online Services by entering your vehicle registration number and the Penalty Charge Notice number, and then follow the 'Appeal' link. You will then be able to enter your representation into our Appeal on-line form. Your representation will be e-mailed to us and you will receive confirmation that it has been received.

You can pay your Penalty Charge Notice online using your Debit Card or Credit Card. On-line payments are quick and easy to use at anytime of the day or night, any day of the year from anywhere you have internet access.
Because the transaction is made via the secure Government Gateway, the confidentiality of your personal data is guaranteed as the highest standards of encryption are built into the system. This ensures that your personal data is stored and transmitted safely.
We accept Maestro/Switch, Solo and Visa Debit Cards (not Electron), and any credit card displaying the Visa or Mastercard symbol. To make an on-line payment all you need is your vehicle registration number, the Penalty Charge Notice number of the notice you intend to pay and your credit/debit card.
The Penalty Charge Notice will be noted as paid within minutes of your transaction. Your payment will be posted to your payment card account after it has been authorised and cleared - this is normally within 24 hours. You will be given a unique payment reference and confirmation of this will be sent to you by e-mail so that if you need to, you can contact us about the payment. If there is a problem with the payment card or your account, you will not be able to complete the transaction and you will be advised to try again.
