Community Network and Business Representatives

Membership of the LSP is divided into three sections; statutory members, i.e. Hastings Borough Council, East Sussex County Council, members from the community and voluntary sector and representatives from local businesses.

Community and Voluntary sector are elected from Hastings Community Network (HCN).  HCN embraces a Network of Network approach to Community and Voluntary Sector representation.  This means encouraging the different organisations in the town to work together under themed 'umbrellas' or Networks.  Representation from these networks then make up the Steering Group of the Hastings Community Network and from here 6 people are elected to represent HCN on the Local Strategic Partnership.  A further 4 representatives are elected independently directly onto the LSP from the 4 Priority Wards.
