Young People
- Hastings Young Persons Council
Hastings Young Persons Council (HYPC) is a non-party political organisation now in its seventh year that aims to give young people a voice in decision-making across the Borough.
This partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and the Youth Development Service enables Youth Councillors to represent the views of one of the largest populations of people under the age of 25 living in the South East area. Youth Councillors are consulted on a range of issues and get to meet local Borough Councillors and other decision makers on a regular basis to put forward their ideas and to be kept informed of the latest plans for the town.
If you are aged between 13 and 25 years and wish to join the Youth Council or find out more visit their website, or contact the Community Partnerships Service
