Are you a pensioner?
If the answer is "Yes", you may be entitled to Pension Credit!
The Pension Service aims to put customer requirements at the heart of business processes and part of their vision is to deliver an improved service to customers. To help achieve this, the Local Service has been set up to provide direct contact with customers who require extra support, and to build relationships with partner organisations such as Local Authorities and Voluntary Organisations.
The Local Service provides a number of services for its customers and their advisers, offering help and information on benefits and entitlements, including the new Pension Credit, as well as state pensions, Attendance Allowance etc.
You can make an appointment to see someone from the Pension Service at the St Leonards on Sea Community Information Point:
16 Silchester Road
Thursdays between 9.30am and 12.30pm
You can receive information that is specific to your personal circumstances. If it is difficult for you to get out then a visit can be made to you in your own home. Please phone 0845 6060265 (textphone 0845 6060285) for an appointment, further information on benefits or to arrange a visit.
