The Gambling Act 2005 came into effect in September 2007 and fundamentally changed the way all matters connected with Gambling are dealt with by giving local authorities the power to licence all the different Gambling premises in their area.
The Gambling Act 2005 placed a duty on Authorities to prepare and publish a 'Statement of Principles' that came into effect on the 31 January 2007. Hastings Borough Council's Gambling Act Statement of Principles 2010 is now available.
