Recycling Figures Success

A communal bin

Our 2008 recycling figures are now at 26% (excluding compost) putting us ahead of our neighbours Rother, Wealden, and Lewes and proving that the introduction of the Twin Bin scheme has been an incredible success.  Over the next week or so, we're writing out to over 12,000 households to explore the possibility of introducing Communal Bins in their area which would give recycling another big boost and help keep streets clean.
