Robert Tressell Festival 2009
Robert Tressell wrote "The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists" in Hastings between 1906 & 1910. Much of the book is based on his experiences of working in the town as a signwriter and decorator.
The play of the book “The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists” can be seen at Concordia Hall, Church Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, on Saturday, 4th July at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £5 and £4 for concessions. Refreshments will also be available
