About WEEE bins
Recycling bins specifically for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) have been installed at four sites across the town, giving residents the opportunity to recycle more. The bins can be found at:
- Sainsbury's car park
- Morrison's car park
- ASDA's car park
- Summerfield Leisure Centre

What you can put in the bins:
WEEE bins are able to accept the following items:
- mobile phones
- remote controls
- computer parts
- printers
- keyboards
- scanners
- electric toothbrushes
- electric razors
- hair straighteners
- irons
- any similar sized electrical goods
WEEE bins are not suitable for larger electrical items such as televisions and washing machines, which must be taken to a Recycling and Waste Household site.
Items left around the outside of the bins will be treated as flytipping.

- Sainsburys car park: 0.298 (capacity used to date: 49%)
- Asda car park: 0.149 (capacity used to date: 37%)
- Summerfields Leisure Centre: 0.235 (capacity used to date: 58%)
- Morrisons car park: 0.298 (capacity used to date: 101%)
