Penalties
The Council will issue Fixed Penalty Notices to enforce dog controls.
The Fixed Penalty payment is £75 if paid within 14 days or £50 if paid within 10 days.
Non-payment of the penalty within 14 days and repeat offences may result in prosecution action being taken. The maximum penalty for a successful prosecution is a £1,000 fine and a criminal record, plus any court costs that may be awarded.
