How to report an abandoned or untaxed vehicle

Parking Services are responsible for the clamping and removal of untaxed and abandoned vehicles from the streets and open spaces of Hastings and St Leonards.

A dedicated Enforcement Team are employed to patrol the Borough every weekday, acting upon information provided by the Public, Parking Attendants and Environmental Enforcement Officers.

Please use our online form to report an anandoned or untaxed vehicle. 

The information you provide will be placed onto a database and passed to the Enforcement team on the next working day.  Normally, we would expect to visit the site that day and make an immediate decision on removal, which will occur immediately, or within 24 hours, or depending on the condition of the vehicle.

If an untaxed vehicle is being driven it may not be in the place you have described, when the enforcement team visit.  If this is the case, you may need to contact us again if the problem persists.
