Sex Establishment Policy

Hastings Borough Council is planning to implement a new policy on the licensing of Sex Establishments within the town. In doing so we are able to set limits that we think are appropriate for the town and the locations that could be considered for any new applications.

This policy, if adopted, does not stop applicants applying for a new premises licence anywhere in the town as we must consider all legal applications but by setting both a limit on applications and areas that are deemed appropriate, any application outside the criteria would need to demonstrate a need for us to depart from the policy.
