Changes to Homemove magazine

From 16 December 2011 the Homemove Magazine which provides details of available social housing across East Sussex and was previously published and distributed fortnightly, will no longer be available in a printed version. Applicants will instead be encouraged to view the magazine online.

Councillor Trevor Webb, lead member for housing, said:

"This decision will not only lead to a significant saving, but an improved and more efficient service to our residents. Those individuals who are physically unable to access a version of the magazine, will be identified by our team and provided with tailor-made information."

A single hard copy of the magazine will be available for applicants to view at the locations confirmed in the Homemove Scheme User Guide (SUG).

There is access to the internet at various locations throughout the town - contact the Homemove Team for details on 01424 451100. Applicants can still subscribe to have a personalised property list printed and sent to them fortnightly for a fee of £10 per six months. Applicants who wish to subscribe to this service should send a cheque or postal order made payable to 'Locata (Housing Services) Ltd', along with confirmation of their Homemove reference number and mailing address to:
Homemove
PO BOX 340
Ruislip
HA4 4AR

Applicants will still be able to bid via SMS text, coupon, telephone and online by logging into their user account via www.homemove.org.uk.
