In January 2012, the Highways Agency will start works to resurface sections of the A259, both in Rye and east and west of the town.
The following newsletter has been issued by the Highways Agency and it explains what the resurfacing will entail for residents and visitors to Rye:
There will be public events at Rye library on Friday 09 December and Saturday 10 December to provide an opportunity to discuss the works with members of the team. Southern Railway will also be providing information on their work during the road works.
