Hastings Furniture Service is a social enterprise that reuses furniture and electrical goods to help local people with low incomes. It also helps unemployed people gain work experience and training through volunteering opportunities. There is a free collection service for reusable donations - sofas, cookers, beds, fridges and wardrobes to help people make a comfy home. Hastings Furniture Service has stores in Hastings and Bexhill. The stores are open to the public 6 days a week and give discounts to people who receive means-tested benefits, Working Tax Credits, pensioners and students.
