About the Chief Officers Employment Committee

The Chief Officers Employment Committee consists of four Councillors and meets as and when required.

The Committee appoints the Chief Executive (subject to the confirmation of full Council) and Chief Officers and determines all matters concerning the terms and conditions of employment of these officers, including dismissal, subject to the Officer Employment Rules.
