New Dawn Consultations

The results from the biggest consultation exercise the town has ever seen are available from the links below.

In November/December 2002, as part of a partnership exercise we asked local people for their views on a whole range of subjects that will affect the long-term future of our town. These included the Community Strategy and Local Action Plans for Priority Areas, a draft Masterplan for physical regeneration, the St Leonards Housing Renewal Area, our Cultural Strategy and the Millennium Community Project.

Results

The results of these consultations were fed back to local people in the Issue 18 - Winter 2002 edition of the Council’s About magazine.

In addition, a Town Conference attended by 200 delegates was held on 26th April 2003 to give further feedback and set out how these results are shaping the continuing work.
