Help improve Council services for disabled people

Please note: This consultation is now closed.

Help shape Council policies and plans by joining a new reference group of local disabled people.

We're looking for disabled people who would like to share their views on our services, the democratic process and access to employment with us.  You can choose how you'd like to be involved, by telling us what type of issue you're interested in and how you'd like us to contact you.

We've joined forces with East Sussex Disability Association (ESDA) to set up the reference group.  To sign up you need to complete a questionnaire.  This is available online at www.eaconsultancy.co.uk or by telephone on 01424 205414 and is available in a range of alternative formats.

We're looking for a range of disabled people with an active interest in how the Council works and suggestions for improving our services.  Complete the questionnaire by Monday 22 October to be part of the group.

Any disabled person is welcome to sign up, including those for whom a chronic illness results in disability, which may cover people with 'hidden' impairments or conditions, who may not consider themselves 'disabled'.
