About our Rangers

We own over forty green spaces ranging from formal parks and gardens like Alexandra Park to large areas of urban woodland and a Country Park with some of the most spectacular landscape in the country.

For over 20 years our Rangers have been raising environmental issues, conserving wildlife and providing a high visibility presence in the town's green spaces.

Our Rangers run a full events programme throughout the year, including activities for families and walks and talks.  Search for 'Coast, Countryside and Nature' in our events listings for full details.

Hastings Volunteer Ranger Service

This dedicated group assist the Rangers in the management of the Hastings Country Park.  Activities include patrolling, conservation tasks, events and surveying to mention but a few.  For further information on how to join, call the Rangers on 01424 813225 or search for 'Coast, Countryside and Nature' in our events listing for details of upcoming Conservation Task Days.
