Eastbourne Night to Remember Midnight Walk

Over the past two years, over 1,000 ladies have taken to the streets and seafront of Eastbourne and have raised a collective £132,000 for Chestnut Tree House. We would like to invite you to gather your girlfriends and let your star shine for a 'Night to Remember' - a ten mile walk along Eastbourne’s seafront, raising money for Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in Sussex.

Summer Fair at Claremont School

A group of parents are organising this fun event to raise funds for our charity.

We will have a second hand uniform sale (including generic items, unbranded), a visit from the fire service, stalls such as a coconut shy or pluck a duck, foods and drinks, various displays etc.

We had a lot of laughs and much fun for all ages last year and very much hope to continue to this effect this year!

We are weather proof and would love to meet you.

Visit to Old Town Hall Museum

Visit to refurbished Old Town Hall Museum of Local History. Guided tour by curator Cathy Walling at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday 19th May and perhaps later in the afternoon a tour of Jerwood Art Gallery.

Museums at Night - Tango Evening

This year, for the first time, Hastings Museum will be joining museums, galleries and heritage sites across the country to open its doors for a special evening event as part of Museums at Night.

Hastings Tango Club is taking over the Museum as part of the international Museums at Night initiative.
This special evening will feature live music, a tango workshop for complete beginners and social dancing in the Long Gallery.
If you want to find out more, learn some simple moves or sit with a drink and soak up the atmosphere, then come along!The whole Musuem will be open, so you will be able to explore the collections.
