Olympic Torch Relay Evening ticket arrangements

Details of how to apply for tickets for the Olympic Torch Relay evening event in Hastings are now available.

The evening show, which will take place on the Stade Open Space in Hastings Old Town, will be the climax of a day celebrating the arrival of the Olympic Torch Relay in Hastings. At the show, the Olympic Torch Relay's three Presenting Partners will each provide 20 minutes of exciting and stimulating entertainment for the event. This will include Coca-Cola showcasing local exciting up-and-coming live music act Rizzle Kicks, Lloyds TSB bringing stunning acrobatic performances to the site and Samsung staging dance performances.

You need to include a stamped addressed envelope with a valid Hastings address - envelopes will be picked at random after that date until all of the tickets have been allocated. No tickets will be issued until after 01 June, and everyone who applies by that date will have the same chance of getting a ticket.

Any tickets that are left after Hastings residents' requests have been met, will be made available to the general public from Monday, 02 July.

Please note that each application can be for a maximum of four tickets, and no-one under the age of 18 can be unaccompanied, so every application must include at least one adult.

Tickets cannot be sold on.

The event on Tuesday, 17 July starts at 5pm, doors open at 4pm and it will finish by 7.30pm. No alcohol will be permitted on site, nor will smoking be allowed; the only animals allowed will be assist dogs.

Only ticket holders will be able to see the stage; anyone without tickets won't be able to see the show from outside the Stade area, and will be encouraged to go to Pelham Place car park, where a large screen is being provided.
