Economic Development Manager

Salary: Grade 3: £31,161 to £36,675 per annum
37 hours per week

This post is vital in supporting the implementation of the Hastings and Rother Six Point Plan, the Hastings Sustainable Community Strategy, the Cultural Regeneration Strategy and other relevant plans.


You’ll develop and deliver major economic development and inclusion programmes and projects and lead the work of specialist contractors and project officers engaged in complex regeneration projects.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economic development, project management and regeneration as well as relevant experience managing staff who are delivering services and projects. Full details of the essential requirements for this post can be found in the job description.

Stade Development Officer

Ref: 584
Salary: Grade 8: £18,639 to £21,735 per annum (pro rata)
Part-time: 30 hours per week

12 month fixed term contract

You'll develop a programme of activities to further the cultural regeneration of the Stade as a visitor destination, attracting new and innovative uses of Stade Open Space and supporting established activities.

You will manage and promote the Stade Hall and Stade Open Space as a community resource while developing and supporting programming in the Stade Hall and on the Open Space to complement the aims of the wider Classroom on the Coast initiative.

The ideal candidate will have experience of co-ordinating activities or events as well as a strong communications and marketing background.
