Group Auditor

Ref: 624
Salary: £31,845 to £37,842
37 hours per week

You'll be able to conduct a continuous independent appraisal of all the Council's activities and have a good grasp of financial matters within the public sector.  You should be able to measure, evaluate and report on and make recommendations to Senior Management and Council Members to enhance the effectiveness of audit controls and to maximise efficient use of resources.

You will be required to undertake special assignments ranging from fraud investigations to project reviews and will deputise for the Chief Auditor in certain areas.  You should be educated to degree level in accounting, auditing or economics and part qualified CCAB or full PIIA (Practitioner Level) with at least 2 or 3 years work experience in a financial environment with knowledge of audit practices and principles. 

A good working knowledge of risk management is desirable together with an aptitude for developing information systems.  You'll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self motivated and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Business Administration Apprentice

Salary: Under 21 £5.13 per hour, Over 21 £7.18 per hour
37 hours per week

Working as part of a team you will be supervised in helping the Development Management Team process Planning Applications.  This will be achieved by means of data entry, scanning and processing information, answering enquiries on the telephone, by email and in person and other basic administrative skills to support the team.

You will need to be well organised, motivated with a willingness to learn new skills for which there will be training provided.

Sea Escapes Business Advisor

Ref: 629
Salary: £26,292 to £30,978 per annum (pro rata)
Part time (15 hours per week)

Fixed term until December 2016

The postholder will develop, coordinate and deliver elements of the Coastal Community Fund R3 - Sea Escapes programme, specifically developing a programme of sector specific training, support and mentorship to businesses within the Creative, Cultural and Visitor sectors.

The successful candidate will deliver this project, in partnership with other officers, agencies, businesses and community based structures to achieve the Council's corporate priorities and the KPIs relevant to this project within the CCF application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering and shaping social, economic or cultural regeneration activities and experience in project development, implementation and delivery. Full details of the essential requirements for this post can be found in the job description.

Tourist Information - Customer Services Officer

Salary: £15,207 to £16,572 per annum (pro rata)
18 hours per week on a rota basis working across 7 days

You will provide an efficient and effective, high quality front line service to the council's customers in the Tourist Information Centre regardless of access channel, i.e. face to face, phone, email or web services to proactively resolve customer issues.
