Income Generation Manager
Salary: £51,888 to £56,469 per annum
Initially 3 year contract
The Council has set itself a demanding programme for income development and we are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to develop a robust commercial strategy and manage its effective delivery. In addition to being a business partner for commercial activities, the postholder will provide a central resource in developing the Council's commercial agenda.
This role is fundamental to the Council's ambition to generate an increasing amount of commercial revenue and to deliver real cultural change.
The successful applicant would be expected to have substantial experience of generating new business, particularly in the commercialisation of public services. Full details and requirements for the role can be found in the job description and person specification.

Planning and Enforcement Officer
Salary: Career Grade 9-7 £17,547 to £24,717
37 hours per week
You'll process complex planning applications and appeals, making recommendations and advising on a range of planning issues across the town.
You'll investigate and enforce breaches of planning legislation and regulations, carrying out site visits and inspections. Educated to degree level or studying to a recognised RTPI qualification or equivalent you'll have a knowledge of current planning law and procedures.
