The Seafront Made Easier

Parking

The large car park at Pelham Place has eight disabled parking bays near the public toilets.
Carlisle Parade car park has 2 disabled Parking spaces at the entrance.  There is ramped access to the town centre and promenade from the eastern pedestrian exit.

The car park next to Marina Pavilion, opposite the Royal Victoria hotel has four disabled parking bays.

Going Out

Rock-a-Nore has small, uneven pavements. The Stade has uneven paving and some attractions which are not accessible to wheelchair users, including Crazy Golf.

The prom is flat with several tactile crossing points. There is a cycle lane on the prom which has raised white lines and tactile paving along its length. The prom splits near the pier and wheelchair users are advised to take the upper route because beach debris often impedes the lower level.

Public toilets with disabled access are on the prom next to Warrior Square. There are a couple of fast food stalls on the Stade.

The café and pub on the pier are accessible as is Marina Pavilion.
