The multi storey car park in the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre has disabled spaces on most levels and a good lift system. The most number of spaces can be found on level 4 where Shopmobilty is based.
The multi storey car park in Priory Street has disabled spaces on the ground level but suffers from a badly thought-out entrance and exit and limited access to other levels.

The train station has disabled parking spaces at the entrance and in the car park next to it. The entrance is level and provides access to the café.
There is level access to platforms 1 and 2 but all other platforms can only be reached via a set of steps and a long bridge.Most of the Town Centre is pedestrianised with tactile crossing points and flat areas in many places. There are public toilets available with disabled access. The cinema has a level entrance with automatic doors, a stairlift to the first floor where the two small screening theatres each have two spaces for wheelchair users and access to disabled toilets.
Several cafés and bars in Hastings Town Centre and the Old Town have level access and moveable tables and chairs but we have not featured them here because they do not provide disabled toilets. However, there are accessible public toilets in the Town Centre.

Priory Meadow Shopping Centre is fully accessible although some stores do not have wide aisles and only Next has first floor access.
Most of the larger shops around the town are accessible but many of the smaller ones are not.
