Love is in... the Town Hall

Bride and Groom on the staircase inside the Town Hall With gothic design, lush décor and marble columns, Hastings Town Hall could be the perfect place for your special day.

What more could you want for your perfect partner than convenient parking, a 60-seat chamber and a stunning staircase for picture poses?

The Town Hall now has a licence for weddings and we're ready to take bookings for marriages and civil partnership ceremonies now.

If you choose the Town Hall for your special day you'll get all the help you need from our facilities manager, including advice on dates, parking and fees.

Expect stained glass windows, traditional paintings, and a sculpture of St Michael (the patron saint of Hastings).  The Council chamber is adorned with the Hastings crest below an arced ceiling and traditional decorations like the gold leaf lists of previous mayors and a stunning fireplace.

The grand split staircase provides the perfect photo spot, where the happy couple can pose in front of an impressive stained glass window and marbled-lined handrails ahead of them.

If you are interested in booking the Town Hall for your wedding, please contact our Facilities Manager on 01424 451722 or email lgreathead@hastings.gov.uk
