Double Bill: 4:48 Psychosis and The Dumb Waiter

Tuesday, 11 April to Saturday, 15 April 7.30pm
4:48 Psychosis - The play's title refers to 4:48am, a time of day when mind and spirit are at their lowest.  This compelling and dramatic piece explores the experience of psychological crisis when the barriers between reality and imagination disappear.
The Dumb Waiter - Two men wait in a dingy basement for instructions... from whom?  To do what?  Their contrasting personalities and attitudes, the bizarre humour of their exchanges, the relentlessly increasing tension as the inevitable denouement approaches; all reveal Pinter's genius as a consummate man of the theatre.  A chilling thriller with a deep and questioning undertow, The Dumb Waiter is not to be missed.
