Take your tree, minus the decorations, to the compound at Harmers lane, off Upper Park Road from Friday 2 January 2004.  Free woodchip mulch wil be available on Saturday 10 January 2004.

Parking over Christmas and New Year

Car Parks Pay & Display

Priory Street, Pier & Carlisle car parks will be closed from 10pm on December 24 and will re-open at 7am on Dec 27.

Priory Street, Pier & Carlisle car parks will be closed from 10pm on December 31 and will re-open at 8am on Jan 1 and will be closed at 7pm.

Priory Street, Pier & Carlisle car parks will re-open normal hours thereafter 7am to 11pm.

Off street car parks - parking fees applies on all days including bank holidays.

On street parking - there is no restriction for parking within residents bay and parking is free in Pay and Display bays on Bank Holidays.

Household Refuse and Recycling Collection

Normal collection days apply up to and including Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 December.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day

Revised collection days over the Christmas period are shown below

It is anticipated that all collections will be made according to the above advice.  However, due to the additional refuse generated over the holiday period it may be necessary to carry some collections over to the following day

Over the Christmas period all residents on the 'Black Box' paper collection scheme will miss one collection.  Normal services will resume from January 5 2004
