Who may apply?
- Low earners
- People who are sick/disabled
- People on Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance
- Pensioners
- Lone parents
- People on other welfare benefits
How much help?
This depends on:
- Your income
- Your Council Tax liability
- Your savings
- Your family circumstances
What does not count when working out my CTB?
- Disability Living Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Mobility Allowance
- Savings up to £6,000 for pensioners
- Savings up to £3,000 for all other clients
The above list is not exhaustive. If you are finding it difficult to pay your Council Tax, don’t delay, complete an application form today – you may be entitled to some help!
