Who may apply?

  • Low earners
  • People who are sick/disabled
  • People on Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance
  • Pensioners
  • Lone parents
  • People on other welfare benefits

How much help?

This depends on:

  • Your income
  • Your Council Tax liability
  • Your savings
  • Your family circumstances

What does not count when working out my CTB?

  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Mobility Allowance
  • Savings up to £6,000 for pensioners
  • Savings up to £3,000 for all other clients

The above list is not exhaustive. If you are finding it difficult to pay your Council Tax, don’t delay, complete an application form today – you may be entitled to some help!
