Have you ever seen a Pink Grasshopper?

Pink Grasshopper

Nature constantly springs surprises including these bizarre pink Field Grasshoppers we found living on Castle Rocks.

The wildHastings website has only just been created and we need your help in collecting photos and information about the wildlife found in Hastings & St Leonards. If you would like to tell everyone about the Local Nature Reserves, woodlands, schools grounds, allotments, or gardens where you live please let us know and we can create some space on the website for your own information and photos.

If you would like to receive the latest wildlife news direct to your personal email you can join the Hastings Wildlife egroup by sending a blank email message to hastings_wildlife-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

If you have found any interesting or weird wildlife in Hastings & St Leonards please let us know. Contact Local Nature Reserve Officer Andy Phillips on 781043 or email wildnews@hastings.gov.uk or you can enter your wildnews online at www.wildhastings.org.uk
