Hastings & St Leonards has a history littered with Mods and Rockers who held rallies during the Summer of 1964. An exhibition at the Museum is running until September 1st with first-hand accounts of the events of the August Bank Holiday weekend when police were flown into the town to break up the fights that had broken out between rival gangs. There are also plenty of pictures and other memorabilia from that time to feast your eyes upon!
