Pelham Beach has been awarded a Seaside Award, for its standards of cleanliness and for the services that are provided while you are using it.
There will be thirteen lifeguards from mid July to mid September, based in the lifeguard hut opposite Pelham car park. They will be on hand to carry out beach patrols and to make sure that everyone on the beach is safe, administer first aid if it is needed and give advice.
If you’ve forgotten your suntan lotion - don’t worry, you will be able to get it FREE from the lifeguards! You can hire sun loungers, deckchairs and wind breakers from the lifeguard hut. There will also be a safety boat patrolling the shoreline of the beach - weather permitting!

Please help us to keep the beach clean and safe - take your litter home! Don’t forget that there is also a DOG BAN in operation on Pelham beach between the May and October, so please walk your dogs elsewhere.
