One hundred and thirty youngsters took part in two sports camps during the February half term.
The children aged between five and twelve enjoyed athletics at William Parker School and Gymnastics at Summerfields. The sports camps were made possible by a partnership between Hastings Borough Council, William Parker School, Hastings Athletics Club and Summerfields Gym Club.
The athletics camp at William Parker is the start of a large development programme for athletics across the town. It will include the school coaching programme which will see local coaches visiting the town’s schools.
